Why do we say “wholesale fashion hats” instead of simply “wholesale hats?” Well, if you are a new retailer – or perhaps a store who recently began carrying hats, and is unfamiliar with the wholesale headwear world – there are a few key terms that hat suppliers use.

Happy Straw Hat Day!

Happy Straw Hat Day, Everybody!

What? You’ve never heard of Straw Hat Day and think we’re just conjuring up this post in order to bring more people to this site searching for wholesale straw hats?

No way! Straw Hat Day is very real! The site “Days of the Year” even says so. Check it out – www.daysoftheyear.com/days/strawhatday

But to be honest, even though we are hat suppliers and specialize in straw hats, we hadn’t heard of Straw Hat Day until a few weeks ago.

So what is Straw Hat Day? It’s similar to the first day of spring. It signifies a change in the fashion season, where men stop wearing their winter hats – felt hats, wool hats, etc. – and start wearing their summer straw hats.

Where the heck did Straw Hat Day come from? Historically, it seems Straw Hat Day was celebrated by at least one town in America – Ames, Iowa.

In the 1950s, the good folks in Ames felt like they wanted a concrete date for fashionable men to know for certain when they could wear their straw hats. And so they picked a day – May 15th – and christened it Straw Hat Day.

At least, that’s according to the Ames Historical Society and their article The History of Straw Hat Day.

Since that time, it seems Straw Hat Day seems to have been mostly forgotten about. (Had you heard about it before this post? Be honest!)

Well, we’re bringing it back! Of course, since we sell so many straw hats – in wholesale and bulk quantities – it is certainly in our best interest for Straw Hat Day to catch on!

But truth be told, isn’t it great to have a day to know for certain when it’s OK to put your winter hat in the closet and take out those straw fedoras, porkpies, bowlers, and safari hats!

And so, in honor of Straw Hat Day, we’ve picked out our ten best men’s straw hats, available here on our site to retailers and wholesalers.

Wholesale Headwear Suppliers

Here at Dynamic Asia (About Us), we pride ourselves on being one of the top wholesale headwear suppliers in Los Angeles.

But that doesn’t mean if you’re outside of Los Angeles you can’t order from us! We have customers in Florida, Hawaii, New York, Texas, Minnesota, Louisiana, Mexico, the Caribbean, and so many other places in the United States and Latin America!

In fact, most of our customers are not even in California. But being in Los Angeles allows us to receive the newest styles from China, Vietnam, Bali, and anywhere else across the Pacific faster than anyone else!

Unlike other hat suppliers, we don’t just work with one hat manufacturer – we work closely with over ten different hat producers to create a wide assortment of different fashions.

Currently, our fashion warehouse is stocked with a wide variety of headwear – a vast array of wholesale hats of varying styles, including women’s straw hats, fashion hats, fedora hats, sun hats, visor
